This is Ziggy, a male Blue Crown Conure.

Ziggy turned 11 yrs. old April 17th 2004!!!  Ziggy recently became ill and cannot stand on his little feet like he use to.  Vet says may have been a stroke.  Please pray for my Ziggy!  UPDATE:

Ziggy passed away August 31, 2004.

In memory of Louie - 2/9/96 - 5/1/2002

Louie, I will never forget how much you loved me and how much joy you brought me.  I miss you so much it hurts.

This is Chandler at only 8 months old.  Chandler passed away at 9 months old and is now with his best friend Louie.

Smokey, a female, Congo African Grey.   I got Smokey June 25, 2001.  This is the position she gets in to relax.  Right on her dish. Smokey's hatch date is June

15th, 1996.

This is Zimba, a male Congo African Grey born October 15 2005.  Smokey wants Zimba to mate but Zimba says "No way, lets just be friends!  Zimba and Smokey are the same age only Smokey is a few months older.

This  is Bosco who we adopted the day after Christmas 1999.  He was only 7 months old at that time.  Here he is saying "Please don't hate me because I am beautiful"! 

UPDATE: MY SWEET BOSCO PASSED AWAY ON JUNE 12, 2008.  It was sudden and I am beyond the grief and pain in my heart.  He was only 9 years old and was alwsays so healthy.

This is Brutus who wandered into my yard on Memorial Day 2000.  He was just a few weeks old at that time.  Brutus is the "Noble" cat.

This is Furball, aka, KING.  I found Furball just born and near death in the summer of 2000. He is a born trooper and now has become the king of our household.  Furball loves bags, empty boxes, and most of all anything that belongs to Joe.

OH, and in case you were wondering if the 3 cats got along???.......

"Hey Ziggy, I think the bowl is empty!!!"

This is an Umbrella Cockatoo who has lived with this adorable yellow parakeet all their lives.  I took this picture at my favorite Bird Store, "You Pet A Believe It" , where they board birds when their Mommy and Daddy's go on vacation.  This was too cute to pass up.

This is Peaches, a Moullacan Cockatoo, adopted by my friend in June of 2002.  Peaches died the week of November 4th, 2002 from what the vets say....old age.  Peaches was on/about 30 years old.  I had the pleasure of meeting Peaches and having him spend the night at my house.  I will miss him !very much.

Ziggy says, "OK, now I know Ozzy has lost it"

This is Colby.  Colby sang "I Believe I Can Fly" non-stop perfectly and also, "Who Let The Dog's Out.

This is Rosie, a female Red Rump Parakeet. Rosie would of been 3 yrs. old.   UPDATE:  :(

Rosie passed over on September 16, 2004.

These are 2 out of 12 eggs that Rosie laid in March 2003 and then 13 more in Dec. 2003!

This is my first cousin, Susan.  Everyone always said her and I were separated at birth.  We were so much alike and partners in crime.  As you can see, Susan was taken from us at the young age of 47 to cancer.  She was a remarkable woman and was never afraid of anything.  Not even death.  Susan will always remain in my heart and soul.  I miss her so much.  We all do.

Until we meet again, please watch over us.

Susan, my tears have not stopped flowing.  I cannot seem to face the fact you are no longer with us.

AND THIS IS FURBALL - Joe's Best Friend - when Joe comes home from working on the subway tracks Furball loves to rub his sweet little face in Joe's dirty clothes.  Here Furball is saying. "Who me, I didn't do it"?

This is Tweety and Susie. (Susie is on the left). Named after my late cousin Susan.  Sweet as can be.  Both Tweety and Susie were dropped off at a pet store...literally.. In a shoe box. UPDATE: Susie passed away July 23, 2005 same date as my cousin Susan's birthday -   Fiesty and funny!

This is Justina and Anthony - They were taken from us tragically, at such a young age.  Although they did not know each other and both passed at different times,  it doesn't matter!  I know they are friends now and are with Susan and the birds on this page flying and having a wonderful time together.  We will all meet again, until then the tears are still flowing and hearts continue to break.

This web site started off being a place to share all of my pets and family.  This was my first attempt at a web site.  I dedicated this page to Chandler and Louie who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge way too soon.  I am very sad to say that now, this page has become more of a Memorial Page not only for my Parrots, but for family and friends too.

As I am updating this, Ziggy passed over to the "Bridge" on August 31, 2004 at 11:36 AM and if that were not enough, my sweet Rosie has now joined him.

She passed over on September 16, 2004 at 6:15 PM.   Another loss, my Susie, named after my late cousin Susan, died on her birthday, July 23, 2005.  So strange!

I will never be the same and I hope this page somehow conveys the love in my heart for those that have left before me.

UPDATE: Ozzy went to a new home in May of 2007. I am happy to report he is very happy and being very well cared for.  I will always love you Ozzy, and you will always be my little boy.
